Did my research on all the different type of VOC detectors with Email/ SMS alerts. I chose this model not only for my own home, but also for the customers (I'm a contractor). This is not the cheapest model available, but I believe it's worth the extra money to have the support they provide. That way, I feel that if there is a problem, I can contact support without second thoughts . This unit seems very reliable. It's one place I would not want to cut corners. (Posted on 6/1/2014)

Got the AQM VOC sensor for a test project. It was easy to setup, and got configured within 10 minutes. The device comes calibrated from factory, but we found it to be off when we got it. Cool thing is they have a good web interface for calibration, so that saved the day. Good response, and sends out alerts by email. SNMP works great too. (Posted on 3/27/2014)

I probably researched for weeks and accidentally came across this product. Google did a bad job of listing this product. Got it, set it up in our test facility. IT takes about 10-15 minutes for the sensor to settle when powered up. Given this is designed for continuous operation, that is ok. It was giving some initial readings. Turns out it was picking up the perfume in the air. Though not visible on frontend, they have a nice calibration interface through the web which can be quite handy. The response is quick, but not particularly linear towards higher concentrations. It does a good job of notifications, and that was key to us.

Cons: The sensor seems to be mounted inside. It seems like the sensor can be replaced, but may need to open up the case. The sensor gets HOT, which may not be ideal for some low temperature applications. (Posted on 3/9/2014)
